Associate General Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary: The Associate General Manager of Mint Eco Car Wash plays a pivotal role in leading the team to consistently deliver a 'five-star' guest and employee experience. We Exist to Make People Happy, success in this role is driven by our commitment to being experiential, expert in our field, and maintaining a critical eye for continuous improvement. Our process-oriented approach ensures that we trust in our methods and continually refine them for optimal results, firmly believing in the power of trusting the process as a key driver of our success.Ensure all aspects meet or exceed company standards, including - but not limited to daily operations, sales, staffing, training, and facility upkeep/appearance. The AGM closely supervises operations when the General Manager is not present. Nonetheless, the AGM has responsibility for all aspects of the site, Specifically, the AGM oversees the performance of the detail and interior departments, with direct reporting from the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest and Employee Experience:

• Consistently providing five-star guest and employee experiences that leave lasting positive impressions.

• Build a loyal customer base by establishing relationships based on honesty and expertise.

• Handle customer complaints and employee conflicts in an even-tempered, fair, and empathetic manner.

2. Operations Management:

• Oversee the daily operation of the car wash- ensuring all staff members, departments, and equipment are performing to Mint Eco standards. 

• Forecast labor needs, create schedules, and manage intra-day staffing levels to optimize operations and stay within the labor budget. 

• Order and maintain proper inventory levels of all supplies and chemicals. 

• Plan and supervise the location’s maintenance, including cleanliness of the site and equipment maintenance/repair.

• Complete all assigned administrative duties correctly and on time.

3. Budget & P&L Responsibility:

• Ensure that the site and individual departments meet or exceed their budgeted revenue. 

• Controlling all variable expenses and actively managing each line of the P&L.

• Ensure profitability within allocated budgets while maintaining high standards of service quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of previous management experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English

• Must work 50-55 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of the car wash business 

• Mechanical aptitude. 

• Proficiency in Spanish
