Introducing our newest wash package: mint

The car and the car wash are mysteries to most of us.  We rely on our relationships with our dealerships, mechanics, and car washes to be experts.  Here at Mint Eco Car Wash, we embrace the responsibility of being experts in our field. Why are we telling you all of this? Because we are making changes to our menu, and we want to be crystal clear as to what changes we are making and why.

Recently, the car wash industry has introduced two new compounds: Ceramic and Graphene.  Both compounds promise improved protection, shine, and longevity when compared to traditional “waxes.” While many car washes adopted these compounds blindly, we chose a more skeptical, patient, and careful approach. Over the last twelve months, we have researched third-party data, conducted multiple interviews with the chief chemist at the nation’s largest car wash chemical vendor, visited car washes using these compounds, and tested the products at our sites. Our conclusions are the following:

1.     Ceramic and Graphene are both materially better products and protect the car better, look better, and last longer.

2.     Furthermore, when Graphene and Ceramic are used together in tunnel applications, their qualities have three times the impact, as illustrated in the chart below.

3.     The quality of these compounds in the market varies greatly.  After research and testing, we have concluded that the high-grade brands of Armor All Ceramic and Rain-X Graphene we are implementing are the highest quality on the market, and deliver extraordinary results, consistently.

Finally, here at Mint Eco, we have another standard: the Environment.  We have conducted the same self-imposed audit of this chemistry as we have on everything that we use in our tunnel. Our conclusion is that, at the levels used in our services, both Ceramic and Graphene meet our standards as biodegradable and non-toxic compounds (safe for humans and safe for fish).

Therefore, we are excited to announce the introduction of this new chemistry to our Members and Guests in a new top wash package: the “Mint.”

The Mint will have all the elements of our Protect (including Salt Away), with the addition of Armor All Ceramic, Rain-X Graphene, and a new Rain-X product applied to the windshield.  The Mint will be, in our opinion, the best wash in the industry.  The Mint will be priced at $25 per retail wash ($3 more than the Protect) and $45 for a Mint Unlimited Monthly Club ($7 more than the Protect Club).
